DNV Certification OY/AB

DNV Certification OY/AB is the first accredited certification body in Finland and also market leader at the moment in Finland and many other countries as well. We already have assessed number of companies both big and small starting from 1992 as DNV employees and from 2000 as a DNV partner over 1500 on site man days.

Certified companies operates or manufacture their products on the following industrial or service sectors e.g.: metal-, chemical-, process-, automotive-, electric-, electronic and food industry. Manufacturing of medical devices, marine equipment, pressure equipment, diesel engines etc. Such service providers as maintenance-, consulting, inspection and testing, trading-, electrical supply services etc. The scope of work has often been initial certification or periodical assessments in accordance with quality-, safety- or environmental standard or to evaluate management system compliance with European directives.

As a partner to DNV we have been involved in developing and delivering consulting services related to quality- and safety management systems and assessments of safety management systems (ISRS). We have also been involved in training of safety management system auditors and accredited environmental management system auditors. 

Kemira Oyj

Co-operation with Kemira Corporation (Kemira Chemicals Oy, Kemira Fine Chemicals OY, Kemira Pigments Oy, Kemira Agro Oy) have been going on for years. Services have included for example following safety management related topics:

Laser Cutting Centre (Laserkeskus Oy), 
    Innova project 2002

Planning, implementation and coordination of “Laser Technology Project” at Laitila in Finland. Group of network of metal industry companies was investigated and developed to plan and co-ordinate its material demand under one service company. Simultaneously, technology level was lifted up due to possibilities to utilize laser technology in product design phases in those participating companies. As a result of this project a new company Laserkeskus Oy was established in Spring 2003 in Laitila.
